Its been long since i took a coach or plane overseas...
dis mth on 19th-25th
i went to xiamen with RP for
aerospace avionics study trip...

i guess it's been long since i took a plane...
during my flight frm SG to xiamen,
4hrs flight is damn torturous for me...
passengers slping soundly during e flight
even my friend while
im trying 2 find a comfortable spot 4 myself
coz the space was very very crampy
resulting my leg hurt during e entire trip

Upon reaching xiamen, our host Helen was there alrdy
so we took a coach 2 our hotel...
e trip frm xiamen international airport to our hotel is 5-10mins trip...

e hotel we will be staying 4 e rest of the entire trip...

somehow there was some communication mistake
thus our group name wasn't capture down by their manager or smth
thus we have to wait for them to process
b4 we can check in2 our room so
we went 2 have our lunch 1st while
they r preparing room 4 us

haha looks lyk having smth high class lunch or smth

1st dish: prawn
nobody dared 2 tried e prawn...
i duno y so i started e cue den
after tat ppl start 2 eat...
their prawn taste salty but
@ e same time very fresh

2nd dish: vermicelli with scallop
very popular dish in my table due to scallop haha!

3rd dish: chicken

4th dish: long bean

5th dish: fish
nobody ate e fish till
din started peeling e fish haha
coz everybody lazy 2 peel e fish

6th dish: seafood hotpot

7th dish: beef

after e 7th dish, everybody was full alrdy
b4 e 8th dish could b served,
ppl have alrdy scattered lol
den left a few of us eating

8th dish: fried veggy with clam if im nt wrong

last dish: desert haha

after our lunch, our room was oso prepared
so we went 2 check out our room
& we were 2 meet in an hrs time 2 move on
2 our next sight seeing spot

beach look very empty coz @ tat moment,
typhoon was heading 2wards fujian where
xiamen is oso part of fujian so ppl avoid going 2 e beach

actually our purpose of going 2 Guan Yin Shan is 2
visit their sand sculpture but due 2 typhoon,
e attraction was temporary close
but i manage 2 take down 1pic of e sand sculpture

after Guan Yin Shan visit,
we went 2 a shopping mall called
SM shopping center...

SM shopping center look similiar to IMM but slightly bigger den IMM

*End of 1st day*

20th sept; 2nd day @ xiamen...
woke up @ 6.30am, shower &
prepare 4 1st day of training @ TAECO but
training was cancelled coz
typhoon has alrdy hit fujian &
xiamen was oso being affected haha
1st time experiencing typhoon but
it wasn't very scary i guess bcoz
e typhoon wasn't those kind of SERIOUS typhoon case but
still some trees gt uprooted due to e typhoon

look @ e tree being blown 2 their side

despite e typhoon & rotting e whole day in e hotel with nth 2 do,
team Old Bird decided 2 swallow their guts &
roam ard haha!
at first we borrow umbrella &
walk ard our hotel surrounding but
umbrella wasn't much hlp coz
e wind was so strong tat
u could feel tat ur umbrella is gonna be
blown away any moment...
after walking ard e area,
we decided 2 ask e hotel bell boy
whether does he has any recommendation 4 us 2 go shop ard
but ended up we went back 2 SM shopping center again
haha & dis time i bought a pants 4 dear dear

*End of 2nd day*

21st sept; 3rd day @ xiamen...
woke up same time as 2nd day but
dis time weather was better, it was sunny again so
our training could be carried out...
TAECO was ard 10mins ride away frm our hotel
which is oso very near 2 e airport haha...
b4 we start our training, we were introduce 2
our trainer &
some history about TAECO,
rules & regulations &
nt 4getting attractions in xiamen...
e training went very smooth &
soon it was lunch time so
we went opposite TAECO & have our lunch over dere

22nd sept; 4th day @ xiamen & 23rd sept; 5th day @ xiamen...
most of events tat happen was only training @ TAECO

Jia Jia herbal tea tat we had in SG so
i tried it but i guess 2 me,
it does not have ne difference except tat
wang lao ji is nt so sweet compared 2 jia jia

is oso 10mins bus trip away frm e current training centre

haha but team Old Bird & 1 of the teacher went off

have our dinner plus hiding coz
it was raining heavily @ tat moment...
1thing bout xiamen is tat wherever we go,
most of e places serve mainly steak! omg~

24th sept; 6th day @ xiamen...
our training @ TAECO has ended &
2day is e only chance where
we get full day of sight seeing & shopping...
1st stop we went 2 Xiamen University

b4 we could get in2 xiamen university,
dere's some rules & regulations tat has 2 be done

smth exciting happen but

*hint: it's about attitude problem between security guard & civilian*

so we had lunch near xiamen university &
move on 2 our next stop:
GuLang Island...

they provide taxi service @ GuLang Island
but it cost 50RMB per person
so we decided 2 travel by foot
coz we can see more
